Have you ever felt like you’re in over your head? Maybe it was a job, a relationship, finances, sin, or other life circumstances. This is the theme for this years Men’s Retreat! You will be encouraged that God is able to lift you out of that situation! Pastor Ed Belzer will be our guest speaker this year. Pastor Ed has been in ministry over 20 years. He has spoken at conferences across the nation. Many of his years in ministry was as a Youth Pastor. He has a real insight into today’s culture. Today, Ed is the Lead Pastor at Tower Community Fellowship in Auorora, CO.
Join other men who are in the same battle as you are, who all need the grace of God, who all want to be better men. Most men are busy with work, home projects, or family demands. This is a time for men to get to the mountains and get refueled by God’s love, grace, and purpose.
Men will have an opportunity to hike, play football, go shooting, ice fishing, walk downtown Estes Park, hang out around a fire, or do nothing. The only requirement is you eat and attend chapel services!
Do not worry...All the demands of work and home will be waiting for you when you get back, and the world will not fall apart without you! You will get back from this retreat, refreshed, refueled, and renewed!

(It’s about a one-hour drive to the campground from Thornton)
The cost for this retreat is $175 per man. Sons, between the ages of 10 and 17 are $125 each. The cost covers five (5) meals, two (2) nights in a lodge, and ministry expenses.HOW MUCH TIME SHOULD YOU TAKE OFF WORK?
The short answer is from Thursday 3:00 pm to Saturday 12:00 pm.
A good time to show up at the campground is before 5:00 pm on Thursday. This gives you time to unpack and transition to retreat mode. Registration will be open from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm. Thursday night dinner is at 6:00 pm, which is part of your package. Chapel service will be immediately following dinner. You can leave Saturday morning after breakfast, and you help clean-up common areas.Wanna escape to the mountains earlier? Many men get off work early on Thursday, and meet at Penelope’s Burgers in Estes Park at 1:00 pm. Then, they go early to register and hang out at the campground. This helps men get into “vacation mode” a bit sooner. You are invited to join us at Penelope’s!
This is a great Father/Son opportunity. We do have expectations from our young men. We want them to be part of the retreat experience. This means they participate in activities, respect others, and are not a distraction to the purpose of each event.
A level of maturity is expected. If your son becomes a distraction, expect a conversation. Our hope is that every person has an encounter with God, and we don’t want anything to take away from that goal.
